Most of our volunteers are drawn to the Cancer Council because of a strong sense of wanting to give their time, energy and skills to a worthy project. They get the chance to:

  • Better understand cancer prevention, treatment and support issues.
  • Use their time, energy and skills for a good cause.
  • Attend workshops and learning opportunities within the organisation.
  • Find friendship and social contact with a group of like-minded people.

Volunteers are vital to our organisation.
